Eva Ruiz has been appointed as new Chief Operation Officer – DMC while Jònatan Casacuberta is now Global Distribution Director at JTG.
Jumbo Tours Group redefines its business strategy and gives a greater role to the DMC (Destination Management Company) division. This division is dedicated to services and experiences in destination and one of the main business lines of the group. This strategic change, according to the company, is due to “the current situation in the global tourism activity”.
To carry out these plans of improving destination management, the group has appointed Eva Ruiz as Chief Operation Officer – DMC and Jònatan Casacuberta, as Global Distribution Director.
According to the company, this is “a necessary change at this time in an area that it considers strategic for the development and evolution of the group”.
“We are in a moment in which we must rethink how we manage our lines of business and activity. We must take advantage of this scenario to reorganise, reinvent and prepare ourselves so when this is over, we will come out stronger”, assures Jumbo Tours Group’s CEO, Ginés Martínez.
Jumbo Tours Group puts Eva Ruiz in charge of this business division, as the new Chief Operation Officer – DMC and Jònatan Casacuberta as Global Distribution Director, who also maintains his position as Marketing Director of the group. With these appointments the Spanish company strengthens its DMC division and its distribution capacity.

And in addition to Marketing Director, Jònatan Casacuberta, will now manage the sales team and customer relations, as well as bed bank distribution.
