This itinerary takes you through breathtaking landscapes, historic castles, and scenic vineyards. Each day reveals unique experiences highlighting its culture, history, and natural beauty.

Day 1 – Alba – Neive

Arrival in Alba by your own means; meet our assistant for a brief on-the-road tour briefing. You will start by exploring the charming medieval town, known as “the city of 100 towers.” You will be captivated by the enchanting historic center, rich with churches and medieval palaces, the beautiful Piazza Risorgimento, and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo.

Lunch on your own.

In the afternoon, traveling along the hills, you will reach Neive, a small gem of the Langhe, included among “the most beautiful villages of Italy.” There will be a stop at a winery, a meeting with the owner, storytelling, a tour of the cellar, and a guided tasting.

Return to Alba, room assignment, dinner at an osteria featuring a traditional menu (excluding wines), then return and overnight.

Day 2 – Grinzane – Serralunga

After breakfast, depart for the splendid village of Grinzane and Cavour, where stands the eponymous Castle. You will tour the Castle and the Wine Cellar.

The itinerary continues with a stop in Serralunga, a beautiful, almost intact medieval village. There will be an encounter with a viticulture expert, followed by an emotional and evocative journey through the vineyards aboard a 4×4, discovering the stories and secrets of the vine. Then, visit a winery with a final tasting interwoven with anecdotes and curiosities.

Return to the hotel, free dinner, and overnight.

Day 3 – Langa and Roero

After breakfast, continue the program with a visit to a small family-run farm. This enchanting place produces delicious cheeses, and the experience will culminate in a rich cheese tasting.

In the afternoon, meet a nature guide for an easy trekking tour among the Roero rocks, through gardens and orchards, and along the Chestnut and Honey Trail. Afterwards, visit the “crutin”—characteristic caves carved into tuff—and finally, stop at the Regional Wine Cellar for an aperitif/wine tasting featuring Roero wines.

Free dinner, return, and overnight.

Day 4 – Monforte – Barolo – La Morra

After breakfast, depart for Monforte d’Alba, one of “the most beautiful villages of Italy”.

Optional: An experience at a family-run winery can be included, where a professional kitchen and an expert cook will let you get hands-on—not only tasting but also learning the recipes—culminating in a tasting paired with the winery’s wines.

In the afternoon, a visit to Barolo is a must—a small medieval village that has given its name to the famous wine. We then proceed to La Morra, where you will visit the vibrant chapel of Madonna delle Grazie, the most colorful church in Italy, and, not to be missed, take a selfie on the beautiful giant red bench.

Return to the hotel, free dinner, and overnight.

Day 5 – Asti and Canelli

After breakfast, depart for Asti, a historic city famous for its Palio.

Optional: The city deserves a visit with our guide who will accompany you on a fascinating walk through the historic center. You will see charming monuments, such as the Collegiate Church of San Secondo, the magnificent terracotta Cathedral, the medieval complex of the Rotonda di San Pietro, and the sumptuous Mazzetti Palace, home to the Civic Museum.

Lunch on your own.

Continue with a visit to an agricultural farm to discover the sweetness of organic honey and to learn about one of the most appreciated local products made from hazelnuts: nougat. Then proceed to Canelli, the home of Asti Spumante. This spectacular experience will conclude with a technical tasting of four spumantes.

Day 6 – Cocconato and Vezzolano

After breakfast, depart for Cocconato, a lively small village listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, which has also been awarded the Orange Flag by the Touring Club.
From Piazza Cavour, it is love at first sight. Ascending to the upper part, you will encounter ancient houses followed by a succession of buildings, 17th-century churches and under 15th-century arcades. Cocconato is also famous for its Robiola, a cheese renowned and appreciated worldwide.

Lunch at an organic agritourism.

In the afternoon, depart and visit the extraordinary Abbazia di Vezzolano, a beautiful Romanesque and Gothic-style building dating from around the year 1000. Inside, discover the exceptional cloister adorned with a cycle of 14th-century frescoes. Ascend to Albugnano to reach the Belvedere Motta, also known as the Balcony of Monferrato, thanks to its splendid position offering a view of all the hills extending to the Alps. Return to Alba with free time for activities.

Day 1

The first day in Turin begins with a sweet moment—collect your voucher at the hotel and enjoy a tasting of hot chocolate, bicerin, or pralines at CAFFAREL. (The voucher contains all the information on where to use it.)

After the tasting, get ready to explore this wonderful city and discover its countless treasures. Continue toward the noble family palace, passing by the confectioneries and cafés that Cavour loved to frequent, until you reach the monument dedicated to him in the airy Piazza Carlina, created by Dupré in 1873.

Turin was the first capital of the Italian Kingdom, a highly prestigious yet short-lived role for the city. In September 1864, the splendid Piazza San Carlo witnessed the revolt of the Turinese following the decision to move the capital of Italy from Turin to Florence.

Day 2

After breakfast, meet at 10.00 in Piazza Castello with our guide for the walking tour of the city included in the package. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour on foot through the narrow streets of the historic center of Turin and discover not only the most important monuments, but also places and concealed corners which hide secrets and intrigues. Together with our tour guide we admire spectacular places such as the Piazza del Castello, the Royal Palace, the exterior of the Egyptian Museum and the magnificent Courses up to the Mole Antonelliana. Enjoy the walking tour and learn anecdotes from centuries of Turin history.

Day 3

After breakfast, before say goodbyed to this wonderful city, a visit to the Turin Cathedral is suggested. Built between 1491 and 1498 at the behest of Cardinal della Rovere, the Renaissance-style cathedral has a white marble facade on which there are three portals decorated with reliefs and a bell tower in red brick. In the seventeenth century the Cathedral was renovated in order to add the chapel of the Holy Shroud, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture by Guarino Guarini. The chapel intended to house the shroud in which the body of Jesus would have been wrapped in the sepulcher, was severely damaged by a fire in 1997. The relic that had been behind the main altar for some years, although it was not directly affected by the fire, was carried away from the fire area. Today the Shroud is kept in an extended position inside a watertight case, in the absence of air and in the presence of an inert gas placed under the royal gallery.

On the first day, the guide will lead you on an exhilarating journey into Noir Turin. Climb 200 steps to the city’s rooftop, where, under the enchanting night lights, you will embark on an exploration of Turin’s darkest soul.

From ancient archives, a crimson thread unravels tales of distant times—when plagues, unspeakable crimes, and unsettling trials marked the Quadrilateral as one of the most mysterious corners of the city. Hidden passageways lead from the Duomo’s bell tower to the courtyard of the Town Hall, revealing secrets long buried in the past.

The tour begins at 9:00 PM, leaving plenty of time during the day to explore other wonders of the city, including the Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista (Duomo), the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, and the Mole Antonelliana.

Today, continue your journey by exploring the city’s mystical and enigmatic side. As the frenzy subsides and traffic slows, the historic center glows with an ancient light, revealing Turin as a captivating and mysterious Madama.

This intriguing and immersive tour brings to life the yellow legend of the Devil’s Door, the sinister guardians of Baroque palaces, and the mysteries surrounding the Great Mother of God. Here, the veiled woman holding the chalice of the Holy Grail stands under the watchful gaze of Turin’s most famous ghosts.

During the day, take time to visit Piazza Vittorio Veneto, one of the largest squares in Europe, second only to Moscow’s Red Square. Stroll across Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I, built between 1810 and 1813, spanning the Po River, and admire the Murazzi before reaching Parco del Valentino. This enchanting green space, once a haven for street artists, remains the most romantic corner of Turin.

Day 3

After breakfast, before leaving this wonderful city don’t miss a walk to Piazza Castello, the heart of Turin, the focal point of the city, at the entrance to ‘Via Roma’ and ‘Via Micca’. Palazzo Madama (in Piazza Castello), with its baroque facade, was enlarged in 1400 and is one of the most beautiful Italian palaces. In this square is also located the Royal Palace, once the seat of the King of Italy, which recalls the period in which Turin was the capital; the Prefecture, the Regional Government Palace and the choreographic central fountains.

From the square, access ‘Via Garibaldi’, the Turin shopping street. Before diving into shopping, another unmissable square is Piazza San Carlo with its Baroque architecture (Churches of San Carlo and Santa Cristina) and the equestrian monument of Emanuele Filiberto in the middle.

Day 3: Gavi and Canelli

The tour proceeds to the pretty little wine hamlet of La Morra and lunch at Bovio Restaurant with a stunning view of the vineyard covered valley. Day 5: Truffles Land and Barolo

After breakfast, the day begins with an unforgettable journey into intense flavors. At the University of Truffle Dogs, founded in 1880 near Alba, you’ll take part in a truffle-hunting experience. Meet the “truffle hunter” and his dog, then set off into the woods to uncover the secrets of this ancient tradition, unchanged over time and captivating in its simplicity. Keep in mind that this is a simulation, so any truffles found will not be yours to keep!

Stop for lunch at a characteristic restaurant to taste truffle products.

In the afternoon, drive to Barolo, renowned for its prestigious wines, to visit the historic Barolo Castle. Here, explore the innovative WiMu Wine Museum, where wine is celebrated through history, art, cuisine, cinema, music, literature, and local traditions.

Day 6: Dolcetto Tasting at Mossio, Grinzane Cavour Castle

After breakfast, depart for Rodello, one of the region’s charming wine hamlets, renowned for its Dolcetto. Visit Mossio, a small family-run winery producing award-winning Dolcettos in a converted 17th-century monastery cellar. Enjoy a guided walk through the meticulously maintained vineyard before an informal tasting inside.

The tour continues to the romantic Grinzane Cavour Castle, an iconic landmark in the Langhe. The castle is also the venue for prestigious food and wine events, including the International Truffle Auction, meetings of the Italian Cheese Tasters Association, and gatherings of the Order of the Knights of the Truffle and Wines of Alba.
